Track your payouts
See your Stripe balance, upcoming payout, and full payout history once online payments are connected.
Updated 2026-07-10
Payouts shows the money Stripe is holding on your behalf and where it's headed next: what's available, what's still clearing, when your next deposit lands, and a full history of every payout Stripe has sent to your bank. It reads directly from your connected Stripe account, so nothing here needs its own setup once online payments are connected.
Where to find it
Dashboard → Payouts. This page is only visible to the workspace owner; Studio team members don't see it, even as full members.
Before you can use it
Payouts requires a connected online-payments account, available on Pro and Studio plans. Connect it from Dashboard → Settings → Invoicing. If you haven't connected yet, this page shows an empty state with a shortcut to set it up. If you've started but haven't finished onboarding with Stripe, it shows a "setup incomplete" state instead with a shortcut to finish it.
What the stat cards show
Once your account is active, four cards summarize your balance:
- Available: funds ready to pay out on your next scheduled payout.
- Pending: funds still clearing. Click the card to open a drawer listing each payment that's clearing, with its estimated availability date and a link back to the matching invoice.
- Next Payout: the amount and estimated arrival date of your next payout, or a note that it's ready and will go out on your next scheduled payout if nothing is scheduled yet.
- Fees: processing fees taken across the last 30 days.
Below your name and email, a line under the page title shows where deposits land, your bank name and last 4 digits, and your payout schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, or manual, plus any rolling delay Stripe applies).
Payout history
The table lists your recent payouts with a status: Deposited, In Transit, Scheduled, Canceled, or Failed. Click any row to open a breakdown showing every payment, refund, or adjustment inside that payout, with gross amount, processing fee, and net, each linking back to the invoice it came from where FirstSlate can match it. If your most recent payout failed, a banner at the top explains why and links straight to Stripe to fix it. Click Load more payouts to page further back, or Export to download a CSV for a date range you choose.
Managing your bank account and schedule
FirstSlate doesn't hold your bank details or set your payout schedule, Stripe does. Click Manage in Stripe (opens in a new tab) to reach your Stripe Express dashboard, where you can update your bank account, change how often you're paid out, or review Stripe's own records for your account.
Plan availability
Payouts requires online payments, which is available on Pro and Studio. See plans and limits and accept online payments for what connecting online payments involves.
Common questions
Why is my balance different from what I expected?
Available and Pending reflect Stripe's balance, which already accounts for processing fees. Click a payout row to see the exact breakdown of what made up that deposit, or click Pending to see what's still clearing.
Can I speed up when a payout arrives?
Payout timing and schedule are set on the Stripe side. Open Manage in Stripe to review or change your schedule.
Why don't I see this page at all?
Payouts is owner-only. If you're a Studio team member, ask the workspace owner to check it, or see team workspaces for what members can and can't see.
